During your stay, we can organise cooking classes to discover traditional Sicilian recipes. You’ll be spoilt for choice, with a mix of unique recipes specially designed to suit the period of your stay: from the best-known pasta alla norma, to pasta with wild fennel and sardines, via parmigiana, bread and pizza, but also fresh pasta and pasta with lemon. One of Sicily’s culinary excellences is its patisserie, a feather in the cap for the vast range of typical recipes it offers for all tastes: from a classic Sicilian cannolo to a more exclusive pasta elena, but also cubaita, almond paste, almond cream and pistachio cream, typical citrus desserts… in short, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Our raw materials all come from local farms, vegetables and herbs from our garden, oil from our olive groves and flour made from ancient grains. At the end of the experience, you will receive a certificate of participation and sit down at the table to enjoy what you have prepared, learning the secrets of our award-winning chef Max Ballarò!
